From the Seneca Lake AVA, the Silver Thread Vineyard Good Earth white is a fun blend of 65% NY-45, which is a locally-adapted white grape bred at Cornell, 35% Riesling, and 5% Gewurztraminer. Each variety underwent spontaneous fermentation separately in neutral oak barrels before blending, three months of lees aging, and then bottling.
