STV Logo Stemware Now Available

May 11, 2016– One of the most common requests we get at the tasting room is for a logo wine glass.  Many people collect logo’ed glasses from wineries they visit, or are looking for a souvenir with our signature turtle carving.  We avoided selling glassware up to this point for two reasons: 1.) The affordable stems are usually poor quality and can actually hinder your enjoyment of wine.  2.) Many high-quality glasses are out of people’s price range and probably wouldn’t sell very well.

At long last, we were able to find a beautiful stem that meets our quality and price criteria!  The glass is made in Europe by Ravenscroft Crystal, and is shaped specifically for our cool-climate wines (especially Riesling). Here is a description of the glass from their web site:

Our favorite features of this glass are its sheer rim (no fat roll at the edge like many glasses have) and its steep, tulip shaped bowl that captures wine aromas.  Also, it is dishwasher safe (although hand-washing will preserve the logo for longer).  We hope you like it!  The glass is available for sale at the tasting room–$9 each or $32 for a set of 4.  Cheers!
