Would You Like to Rent the Winegarden?

Now that we’ve been managing the Silver Thread Winegarden for about a year and have hosted a few events, we feel like we have a pretty good handle on how this beautiful space can work for others. And we love to share it with guests!

Thanks to the longevity of Dano’s Heuriger Restaurant – and as a reflection of the stellar hospitality Dano and Karen provided – plenty of people, both locally and from outside the Finger Lakes region, have a strong link to the venue. They’ve celebrated holidays, or gotten engaged, or met up with friends regularly. Food and wine encourage community and connection. And we want folks to know that even if they’re not “winery people,” the Winegarden is still a place they can gather!

We offer a few options for groups, based on number of people and what exactly they’re looking for. We’re happy to host groups of up to 20 people with a simple reservation request that can be made online. We offer wine and food packages, and can manage groups of 20 people max without needing to edit our regular business hours. In other words: if your group is no more than 20 people and you don’t request to privately rent out the venue, you will be experiencing the Winegarden during regular business hours and with other guests present.

 

If what you’re interested in is booking the space for a private event, we have two packages: one is a half-day rental option and the other is a full-day private event option. The half-day rental is focused on evening events (after business hours) and is great for the following:

– a private dinner

– a cocktail reception

– a fundraiser

 

 

The full-day option is meant for all-day affairs like weddings. Couples looking to book the Winegarden for their wedding can fill in the private event space form online and expect a reply within 48 hours. We are happy to provide interested parties with a copy of the rental agreement (which includes pricing, black-out dates, and other guidelines), our list of available beverage packages, and a “Suggested Vendors” sheet which includes how to get in touch with some of our favorite local caterers, florists, wedding coordinators, and more.
