Recipes for Two

Cook up a romantic dinner for you and your favorite person!

We chose these two recipes to pair with our Sweetheart Pack this year, which included three of our 2022 wines: Petillant Naturel, Riesling “Estate Vineyard,” & Pinot Noir. Winemaker’s Notes for all of our wines are available right here on our site: For The Trade.

The chicken is a take on Ina Garten’s “Engagement Chicken.” And though it’s not on the recipe, Silver Thread co-owner Shannon suggests adding some Riesling to the pan partway through cooking. It gave the chicken a little extra moisture and seemed to brighten the flavor of the veggies. A good Dry or Off-Dry Riesling will pretty much always pair well with chicken, so let your wine cellar inspire you! And a cool climate red – whether dry or sweet – can really shine when it’s paired with chocolate. If it has some nice fruitiness to it, it will balance out the depth of the chocolate well.
