Recipe: Cheese Plate for Late Harvest Riesling

Late Harvest Cheese Plate- pairs with Riesling Late Harvest Select or Semi-dry Riesling

Serves 4-6

6 to 8 ounces semisoft blue-veined cheese, such as Montbriac (France) or Lively Run Cayuga Blue (Finger Lakes)
6 to 8 ounces firm cheese, such as an aged Gouda from Holland or Muranda Cheese Co. (Finger Lakes)
6 to 8 ounces gooey, creamy cheese such as Saint André (France) or Old Chatham Camembert (Hudson Valley)
6 fresh figs, quartered
1/4 pound honeycomb
1/2 cup walnuts

2 hours prior to serving, unwrap cheese and bring to room temperature.

When ready to serve, arrange cheeses, figs, honeycomb and walnuts on a cutting board, marble slab, or 1 or more platters. Serves 4 to 6.
