Finger Lakes Wine Month

August is Finger Lakes Wine Month! Enjoy specialty tastings and unique experiences, tune in for virtual tastings and online events, and meet up at your favorite restaurants for happy hours and special menus that highlight everything New York’s largest wine region has to offer.

Here at Silver Thread, we’re offering a special Anniversary Flight as part of our Premium Tasting Menu. The Anniversary Flight features the original three varieties produced here at Silver Thread: Dry Riesling, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, plus our signature Blackbird red blend. We’re offering this flight with a locally-made cheese and crackers. Vintages of each wine vary throughout the month to include library bottles. This flight is available during our tasting room hours, which are Thursday-Monday, 11am-5pm. Reservations are encouraged (select “Premium Wine Tasting”).

We are also celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Brock’s ownership of Silver Thread (and the 31st anniversary of the winery) with a wine pairing dinner at Dano’s Heuriger on August 26th. We’re excited to pour guests some 10-year-old library wines from 2012 as part of that event! Tickets are $95/person. Space is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.
