GOOD EARTH WEEKEND 2021 — FIFTH ANNUAL
On Friday & Saturday, September 10 & 11, 2021, Silver Thread will host its fifth annual Good Earth Day event. The event celebrates the upcoming harvest, the 10th Anniversary of the Brock Family’s ownership of Silver Thread, and the 30-year Anniversary of winemaking at Silver Thread. The weekend begins with a 10th Anniversary dinner on Friday night, and continues with Grape-Tasting Tours, exclusive Wine Tastings and sales on Saturday afternoon. Phenology Club Members are invited to pick up their September wine allotment during the event.
10th Anniversary Celebration Dinner: Friday, September 10, 7-9pm. Celebrate the Brock Family’s 10th year at the helm of Silver Thread and the winery’s 30th year of winemaking. Enjoy a 4-course seated dinner at Dano’s Heuriger with library wine pairings from the 2011 vintage. Reservations required.

Grape Tasting Vineyard Tours: Saturday, September 11, 12-4pm. Silver Thread winemakers will lead guests on grape-tasting tours through our bio-intensively farmed vineyard. Bio-intensive is a type of organic farming that uses biological pest controls instead of chemicals. Learn more about our growing practices as you sample Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gewurztraminer grapes. Complete your experience by tasting two library wines in our VIP Wine Library Tasting Room. Tour fee of $15 per person will be donated to Food For All, Lodi’s Community Food Pantry. Reservations are recommended, or sign up upon arrival. Tours begin on the hour and half hour.

Good Earth Day Wine Tasting: Saturday, September 11, 11am-5pm. Sample a flight of current release wines or a glass of your favorite while overlooking scenic Seneca Lake. Sale on Good Earth Red Wine. $15 per flight and $10 per glass. All profits will be donated to Food for All, Lodi’s Community Food Pantry.
