Two 2024 Silver Thread Wines Scored by Wine Enthusiast

We’re excited to announce two scores from Wine Enthusiast! Our 2024 Petillant Naturel has been awarded 89 points, which we feel is pretty respectable for a natural wine of this style, especially since it’s not a wine meant to age (which often plays a part in determining wine scores). And our 2024 Good Earth White has received 90 points as well as the honor of “Wine Enthusiast Best Buy.”

Both of these wines feature locally-adapted hybrid grapes from the Cornell viticulture program, which we grow 100% organically at the Silver Thread Vineyard. They were also both fermented spontaneously, meaning that technically they’re both natural wines. We’re really proud of these wines, and they’ve been two of our best sellers out of the Winegarden tasting room too! Both can be ordered online here.
