2019 Blanc de Blancs – 92 points
Back in December, we submitted a bottle of our 2019 Blanc de Blancs (second disgorgement) to Decanter for review and we found out today that it received a 92! Though you can only read the review if you’re a Decanter subscriber (which we aren’t), the folks at the site sent us the following commentary from Clive Pursehouse:
Quite a pretty Blanc de Blancs from the Finger Lakes producer Silver Thread. The wine balances a depth of character with a bright linear lift. Aromas of key lime pie, wet stone and underripe pineapple. The palate is light, lithe and lively. Beautiful acidity, light stone fruits and a very lengthy wet stone finish. 26 months on lees gives it ample depth while staying on the light, bright side.
We are thrilled by this review! We disgorged just 48 cases so if you’ve not purchased yours yet, now is the time!
