Vineyard & Winery Tour with Private Tasting
One of the best ways to experience Silver Thread is through our Vineyard & Winery Tour with Private Tasting. During this one-hour program, you will join one of Silver Thread’s owner/winemakers for a tour of the vineyard and wine cellar, followed by a private, flight-style tasting of the winery’s six estate-grown wines paired with local specialty foods. We promise an educational, behind-the-scenes look at Finger Lakes wine that you won’t find anywhere else.
In 2017, Tours are offered:
- Saturdays at 11am from May through October
- Fridays at 3pm during July & August
- Other times by appointment at least one week in advance
Important details: Limited to 8 guests maximum. Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time. This experience is held rain or shine. Here are some testimonials from past tour participants:
“The owners’ passion for their vineyard and the wine industry of the region really come thru when Shannon and Paul talk to you. Their wines are excellent as well, we really enjoy them.“–Tom from Pennsylvania
“Loved this little winery! Delicious wines. At the wine tasting they actually taught us about each wine and we did a compare and contrast on whites and reds. Loved them all!”–Randi from Ithaca, NY
